Marie was born in the beautiful and out-of-the way town Melle in Lower Saxony, in a rural area. From a young age, she found herself driven to advocate for nature. The dedicated equestrian started her career after completing her Abitur at drom fragrances GmbH & Co.KG in Munich. The company is a family business that manufactures perfume oils in Bavaria and sells them all over the world. She immersed herself in the recipes for fine and elegant scents, and developed comprehensive, sustainability-focused product concepts for global customers. However, even all that was not enough for her. At the same time, she completed her MBA at the FOM in Munich – the University of Applied Sciences for Economics and management. Her dissertation was closely associated with her career: Nachhaltigkeitstransformation der Wirtschaft – Schwerpunkt Lufterfrischer (Sustainability transformation of the economy – focus on air fresheners). Marie has been with Reckhaus since 2021, and a member of the general management of Reckhaus AG since 1/1/2023.

Born in the Westphalian city of Bielefeld and today one of the company's owners, he completed a degree in business administration at the University of St. Gallen. Modern art is his passion, and sometimes it’s hard to be sure: Is he acting as a businessman, or as an artist? Awakened from the latter, he founded Insect Respect in 2012 and has brought the company and himself through a challenging transformation in the ensuing years. Reckhaus has won numerous awards for his commitment to sustainability. He is happily married and a father to three children. He has been with Reckhaus since 1992, and a Managing Director of the Reckhaus Group since 1995.
